I am back again!

So life around here is a little crazy! We have moved in with the in-laws hoping to save money for a down payment on a house. There are 7 people here, 2 different married couples and I am afraid it might have its toll on everyone. We are doing OK I think but we will see. Ally has started first grade out here in greenwood, and her teacher is wonderful. Mrs. Thompson, she is adored my many of my nieces and nephews that have had her in the past and Ally seems to really enjoy her. Taylor is in kindergarten and I think he has the right teacher for him. Mrs. Cook, she is strict and structured and that is exactly what he needs. The first week was a little rocky, and Friday he had to remove two clips, for spitting on other people. After being grounded all weekend from the wii and the playstation he seems to have gotten the message that, that kind of behavior will not be tolerated at home either. When he came home from school on Monday, he told everyone several times that, " He had a GREAT day, and he didn't spit on anyone." He is such a sweet rambunctious boy. Kiki Paige Jackson, as she calls herself when anyone asks what her name is, is becoming my shadow more and more each day. I can't turn around without her being right there. She is so funny and has such interesting conversations with herself. She has recently learned how to peddle a bicycle and that is all she wants to do, even when its 108 degrees outside. Justin continues to work. He is still working the same job, but when he is not there he is working at the deer lease. And me, I am trying to find ways to earn some extra cash without actually having to go to work. If anyone knows of some good ideas let me know. I am currently making bows and working on somethings to take a sell. I am wanting to start a blog or facebook where you can order my pretty wares. Well i hope to be back sooner than a year.

Still Awake!!!!

Okay so here it is 1:29 am in the morning, and I am still wide awake. I guess being sick and resting as much as possible keeps you awake after you start feeling better. The upside to being awake is I can keep an eye on my sick baby, Allyson.

Squeaking...

The other day the kids were watching a movie and one of the little dears had decided to watch it in french. As I walked in the room to fix the movie, Ally asked me, " Mom are they sqeakin' Spanish?" Just to make sure I heard it right I asked her, "Ally what did you say?" "Are they sqeakin' Spanish?" she asked again so innocently. I smiled really big and told her they were speaking french. I chuckled the whole way out of the room. Now my favorite thing to do is to get her to say it to other people. And she does it every time. She is now my "little squeaker".

I'm Back!!!

Okay, so i am going to try this blogging thing again now that I have a little more time on my hands. Just to update everyone. I still have three children, Allyson is 5 now and ready to start school. She just wants to grow up too fast. Taylor is 4 and when he woke up on his birthday he said "I'm taller!". Now you ask him how old he is and he says "Yep, I taller!". Such innocence, he will age well since he apparently does not get older, just taller. Mikayla (aka Kiki) is 2 1/2 and is such a goofball. Her main mission is to make everyone laugh. She is the funniest kid ever. Justin is working all the time, I wish he didn't have to work so hard for us, but he does it and never complains. He is such a good husband, and father. The kids love to ride in his truck. The are constantly fighting over who gets to ride in Dad's truck. Well we have a busy day today, five birthday parties---all at the same house, at the same time thank goodness, but still a busy day for us. TTYL.

Our ever-growing family start almost five year ago when I met my husband, Justin Jackson, at a Texas high school football game (which down here in good ol' Texas is just as important as college or professional football, no kidding). A short five months later we had a small family wedding to begin our lives with to very small words--"I do." The following July we found out that we were expecting our first baby. Like all men Justin wanted a boy, but when he found out it was a girl, she (without even breathing her first breath) already had daddy twisted around her little finger. She graced this world a whopping nine pounds and four ounces. She was the biggest girl--well baby for that matter--born that day. Allyson Renee, Ally for short was a joy in my life beyond measure. A child brings so much more meaning to your life than you could ever imagine. She was such a joy, except no one could just make her smile. She would look at you like you were an idiot if you tried to do the normal things that seem to entertain babies, although her Uncle Eli and Nana could always seem to get her to perk up. It wasn't but five months later when I learned I was expecting again. The nausea had set in and I cried many nights not knowing how I was going to care for two infants so close in age. When we found out we were having a boy for our second child I thought that Justin was going to blow a gasket. I have never seen some so excited (though I still maintain that boys are just glorified toys to their daddies--toys that never run out of batteries). Taylor Lane was just trying to make me go crazy before he ever came. For about a month before he finally arrive the contractions started coming which kept us busy going to the hospital and getting sent home because I just wasn't progressing in dialation. Finally he came. He was the squirmiest little baby I have ever held in my life. But he was an angel at seven pounds fifteen ounces. He never could sit still. He was on the move once he could roll over. He definitly had a mind of his own and he still does. When Taylor was a year old we found out we were yet recieving another addition to our family, another little girl. Even though boys are heavily out numbered in the Jackson family we were so excited as Mikalya Paige(Kiki) came to us right around Christmas. She was a healthy seven pounds fourteen ounces two weeks early. She brought with her a little jaundice--which I had never before experianced and she also caught the flu bug that was going around. Her and I had it at the same time--It was so fun to care for a sick, cranky infant while I to was sick and cranky. She has always be a joy though even though she is the fussiest of the bunch. She has always had an amazing smile and giggle and is not scared to share it with the world. Last of all is our dog Mac. He is our little gremlin looking dog. The vet says he is half boston terrior and half french bulldog. His coat is brindle with white paws and a white chest. What a crew we have going on here in Texas. Ain't Life Crazy!!!
